Creating a label for Luna Water.
In this project we were asked to create a label for a water bottle using a mythological name from a list. I chose Luna, and started with a simple starting logo. I didn't add any color or anything else yet so I could play with the shapes and lettering.
My next step was to try to add some color. After many different options here is what I settled on. I also added the water ripples around the moon to tie the moon and water elements together.
I decided the purplish shade wasn't very fitting so I changed it to the blue shade, and added more ripples at low opacities around the moon. This sort of simulates movement of water.
That was the last step for me as far as designing just the logo went. I then went on to design the rest of the label. I had issues trying to think of anything cleve to add as some flavor text on the side so for the moment I left it blank while I worked on everything else.
Here is the full label. I added the text on the right side and included a small watermark of the logo above it.
Here's an outline view. A ton of small details went into creating this label.
And here is a complete view of all sides of the label on a bottle mockup.
